Jamil Stamschror-Lott’s Accolades and Accomplishments
- Jamil founded a successful “Sunday Study Session” group in which he brought students and volunteers together on Sunday afternoons to help youth complete school work and gear up for the week. This work led to Jamil receiving an award as teacher of the year. Here are some pictures of the group.

- Jamil has been a long time mentor with New Lens Urban Mentoring and was awarded Mentor of The Year in October of 2016

- Jamil has also worked for many years as a St.Paul ambassador walking the streets with the St.Paul Police and the YWCA in an effort to interrupt crime. His work on this team has been featured in many publications due to the signficant decrease in violence from their efforts.
